Urgh I can’t believe I’m writing up another entry but Dad is busy watching a Star Trek movie so I have no one to tell anything to. I kept wondering why people hosted with HostGator, often opted to register their domains elsewhere. And then I found out HostGator registers the domains through something called eNom and out of curiousity, I did some research and got my answer right fast.
According to people who had experience with eNom, they say that service is terrible. Not only that though, eNom stalks your domain until expiration date and then snatches it up the moment it expires. Kind of freaky to me but eh. And ironically enough Firelilly was REGISTERED through HostGator. Can’t do much about it though.
Though HostGator as a hosting company is great; I’m just a little concerned with the fact of the domain and etcetera. And yep, this would be another pointless entry brought to you by the owner of this website.
